The best baby and children's store around. Huge range, great quality products, personal service with competitive prices to suit everyone.

We now have a NEW website which is available for you to browse or buy. We send to anywhere in NZ. We are a family-owned baby and children’s store specialising in a huge range of baby and children’s products from baby basics and necessities through more specialised items like car seats. We are also stockists of quality toys, educational games, dress-ups, books and puzzles. In order to keep up to date with the latest industry developments, we attend toy fairs both in New Zealand and abroad. This enables us to have the knowledge of what is available and to source unique items not seen in the general market. We are also stockists of quality clothing and footwear for babies and children. Some of our brands are unique to us in the South Island or New Zealand. We pride ourselves on providing not only friendly, personal and helpful service, but also having knowledgeable staff, specialising in different fields throughout the store. We offer shoe fittings, and car seat fittings from our trained car seat technician. Every staff member is passionate about the products and services we provide, and our aim is to prepare parents for the arrival of their new addition and to make purchasing items as easy as possible in our one-stop store. Our store mantra as the “Kidstuff” family is “To provide the best baby and children’s shopping destination in New Zealand”

❤️ It Kind of Just Happened... 25 Years of Kidstuff! ❤️

Twenty-five years ago, I never imagined that helping a friend in her little secondhand shop would lead to the Kidstuff we know today!

What a journey it's been! From raising seven children while starting a business, to working alongside my family, watching generations of customers grow up, and seeing our little shop become the treasure trove it is today.

There have been plenty of highs and lows, lots of laughter, some unexpected challenges and so many wonderful people along the way.

I've finally taken a little trip down memory lane and put together the story of how it all began, with a few funny moments and special memories along the way.

I'd love you to take a few minutes to read my story. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our Kidstuff journey over the past 25 years. We couldn't have done it without you!

With love and gratitude,
Dorothy xx
