An NZ jeweller based in Sydney, Alexandra Dodds has a fascination with shapes and textures of the natural world, which forms the base of her work with fine metals and precious gems.⁠

We’re welcoming Alexandra Dodds to the Underlena Showroom for one morning only, this Saturday 24 October with a selection of her exquisite jewellery available for purchase. An end of year treat, perhaps for yourself or another?⁠

MOVES WITH YOU — this week we introduce you to Lily Denhardt 💞 most recently seen helping set up for last weekend’s pop up (no questions asked, just straight into building a bench with us) we usually have a hard time keeping up with this absolute angel.⁠

Lily can be found extremely well dressed all over the world for her work in fashion wholesale, we just follow along for the ride. Generous and full of warmth, she welcomed us into her beautiful apartment off Ghuznee Street, Wellington as she picked an outfit for the day and iced a truly divine cake.

The new Kye Recline Bateau Mini was a *hot topic* over the weekend at the showroom. Our favourite top, turned into a mini that isn’t too mini: we have a feeling this is going to become a favoured silhouette as the weather warms up. Great with a pair of sheers while we wait.

One Sunday morning a little while ago, I stumbled across Sophie Burton Hishon’s Substack, Golden State, and promptly read through her entire archives in one sitting (in bed, with my coffee, mind you).⁠

What struck me was her way of talking about wellness and nourishment that felt so full of vitality, joy and sensuality. I felt compelled to learn more about Sophie and her approach to her work, so invited her for an interview for Notes on Sensuality. ⁠

Sophie talks about all sorts - developing an inner compass, the connection between nourishment and sensuality, her winter practice (hint, it involves sun on your entire body) and her favourite way to cook beans + greens (kindred spirit!)⁠
