Hi to you all, I hope and trust you all had a great Christmas and New Year. 41 1/2 years ago I started Keez n Shooz after going to Australia in 1979 as a carpenter joiner, I changed vocation, and worked for Mister Minit on the Gold Coast. In 1981, along with another NZ Joiner, good friend Terry Grant, got promoted to open Minit NZ in Wellington and Auckland. In July 1983 it all began, hence I am closing the doors and semi retiring, and assisting Pete Grace at Grace Cricket launching specified designer sports footwear with spikes. There are so many people to thank, my family of which my two Brothers John who became my right hand man till the end and Barry who both worked for and with me, a real privilege to have done that. My wife Jennifer who has been the backbone and most understanding, patient supportive person ever. I am so grateful and appreciative of her, my children Nikita and Yelena, to my Perfect parents, my beautiful sister Rae, and the Big O, bil Dean. My staff Bret, Bruce, Greg, Ian, Neal come to mind. My landlords and property managers, thank you. I can't forget the longtime lunch club, last man standing Dave (Dingo) Clareburt (Man to Man) and BenThomas, (ex Stirling Sports). Boy, did we solve some problems😁. My awesome accountant, Martyn Freear, who was with me for 37 of those years, mate, you are a legend.
