Congratulations to the NZ Black Dragons amazing efforts in Germany !! 🖤🐉

GOLD FOR THE BLACK DRAGONS! 🥇🐉🇳🇿
What a sensational first day on the water for our NZ Black Dragons!

Our Senior B crew stole the show with a thrilling GOLD medal performance, overtaking three countries in a blistering charge to the finish line! 💨🔥 From the first stroke, they meant business and delivered in style. What a race to witness! 🌍✨

Our Premier Mixed team opened the day with strength and determination, finishing 8th in an incredibly competitive field.
Our Senior C paddlers followed with grit and heart under the blazing sun, powering their way to a fantastic 5th place finish! We’re so proud of the intensity they brought to the course.
And to wrap things up, our Senior A team gave a gutsy, hard-fought performance securing 6th place and leaving it all out on the water. 💯💥

Massive effort from every crew. We’re just getting started, LET’S GO BLACK DRAGONS! 🖤🐉🇳🇿

They say it takes a village — and when it comes to pulling off an event like the Dragon Boat Nationals, that couldn’t be more true. On behalf of the Nationals Organizing Committee (OC) and the NZDBA, we want to extend our deepest thanks to every single person, team, and organisation who played a part in making this year’s Nationals one to remember.
