El estudio Arbizu & Gamarra compartió la resolución que impuso el pago 20 000 soles a la periodista Milagros Leiva por el delito de difamación.

Milagros Leiva fue hallada responsable del delito de difamación en agravio de Anahí Durand, exministra de la Mujer, por haberla «terruqueado» durante la emisión de uno de sus programas en Willax TV. Una de las frases por las que fue sancionada la periodista fue esta:

“(…) No te santifiques que los hechos demuestran que eres una “terruca lover”; viviste con un terrorista, tuviste una hija con él, presentaste el libro de un terrorista y abogaste para que un terrorista sea cambiado de prisión. No es campaña de “terruqueo”, esto es información (…)”.

“(…) Quién en su sano juicio podría tener una hija con un terruco? Es porque comparte el mismo pensamiento, no nos venga a atarantar. Como dijo su líder AL MAESTRO se le dice MAESTRO al TERRUCO se le dice TERRUCA!!! (…)”.

La jueza Marianela Noemi Romero Barzola, a cargo del Sétimo Juzgado Penal Liquidador, resolvió que esa y otras afirmaciones no están protegidas por la libertad de expresión, por lo que determinó un fallo condenatorio con normas de conducta por un año y el pago de 20 000 soles, que la periodista deberá pagar de manera solidaria con el tercero civilmente responsable Agencia Perú Producciones SAC (Willax Televisión).

Anahí Durant explicó, a través de sus redes sociales, que «la sentencia sienta un precedente importante y debe servir para que los “periodistas” sepan que terruquear es delito y tiene consecuencias».
