This is not the end of your story.

Failures can make you question your direction, and disappointments can convince you that you have missed your chance. After everything you have been through, it is easy to feel small, unsure and tired. Yet, God sees you- exactly where you are. He knows your heart, your struggles, and even the paths you think you’ve already ruined.

Here’s something to hold onto: Your weaknesses and mistakes do not cancel what He has already planned in perfect faithfulness. What He has purposed will stand (Psalm 33:11). His grace is bigger than your failures. His mercies never come to an end.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing.” (Isaiah 43:18–19).

Fix your eyes on what God is still doing. Press forward, not relying on yourself, but trusting His promise to carry you through (Philippians 3:13–14).

And after you have suffered for a little while, God Himself will restore you, strengthen you, and establish you (1 Peter 5:10).

For even when the righteous fall, they rise again (Proverbs 24:16).

Beloved, your story isn’t over.
In Christ, there is more.

I’ve had seasons where my prayers feel like they’re just hanging in the air, where I keep asking, hoping, believing, and still nothing seems to change. I’ve sat with that heavy feeling inside, wondering if I’m on the wrong path, if I’m missing something, or if maybe...

God just forgot about me.

And yet, every time I let my heart be still, I remember the truth:

The ways of the Lord are higher, far beyond anything we can understand, and infinitely more trustworthy than our own (Isaiah 55:8-9).

He sees the end from the beginning. He knows every detail, and He has crafted all things in perfect faithfulness (Romans 16:27; Isaiah 25:1). Every promise He has made to His children, He will keep (Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 10:23). He is not bound by our time, nor limited by our understanding (Isaiah 57:15). Nothing, not circumstance, not failure, not delay, can thwart His purposes (Job 42:2).

But more than His power and sovereignty, God is love (1 John 4:8). He loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3) and has shown it most clearly by sending His only Son into the world so that you may live through Him (1 John 4:9).

I may not know exactly what you are going through or what season you are in, but my prayer for you is that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will fill your heart today. No matter what you see in the present, nothing can change who He is.

He is a good Father, working all things together for your good and for His glory (Romans 8:28-30).

Child, trust your Father’s love.
He sees you,

and He has not forgotten you.

Have you given up praying about something in your life today because of the present situation you are in? Or is your past experience hindering you to believe for better things to come? Or maybe-

you are already tired of waiting.

We have no assurance of what is going to happen tomorrow, in the coming days, months or years. But the assurance that we have is that to those who love and trust His name, He never disappoints. God knows what we need. And He remembers, even those prayers we have forgotten.

Our God does not withhold good things from His children (Psalm 84:11). The waiting might be too long yet the process is as important as what we are praying for. But let us hold on tightly to the faith we profess, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).

Pick up those prayers and hope again. For this is the confidence we have in approaching God:

that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1 John 5:14).
