Our furchild and thunderstorms: How to keep your furchild calm ⛈
As we approach the rainy season, it's important to remember that thunderstorms make our beloved pets scared and anxious. The sudden flash of lightning and loud noises are scary to our babies. Other than thunderstorms, common situations such as fireworks, car rides, and vet visits can cause anxiety to them 🐾
To help our furchild calm down, here is one way to do so: Anxiety Wraps! ✨
An Anxiety wrap helps our furchild calm down by preventing the blood overflowing to their legs. It also helps keep a balance of blood flowing throughout their bodies.
One can use the following:
🐾 Elastic bandage
🐾 Scarf
🐾 Any stretchy fabric
Tips when and after putting the anxiety wrap on our furbabies:
🐾 Give some treats before starting the wrap.
🐾 Have someone help you if your furbaby is fussy.
🐾 Never leave your furbaby alone after wrapping them.
🐾 If your furbaby wants to take it off, do so in order to avoid adding to their stress.
