Open Letter to the People Who Say, “My Turn Someday.”

“My turn someday.”

It’s a simple phrase we often say when we see someone with a new house, a new car, a successful business, or a life that seems to be falling into place.

But when you say, “My turn someday,” I hope it comes from hope, not envy.

Because the truth is, you don’t know how many times that person cried before they got there.

You didn’t see the rejections.
You didn’t see the sleepless nights.

You didn’t see the moments when they wanted to give up but chose to keep going.

All you see now is the result.

So please don’t be too hard on yourself just because you’re not there yet.

Everyone has their own timeline.

Some people move faster.
Some people move slower.
But both are still moving forward.

If they have a house today, maybe you’re still saving for yours.

If they have a car today, maybe you’re just getting started.

If they are successful today, maybe you’re still in the chapter where life is teaching you the lessons you’ll need later.

And that’s okay.
Life is not a race.

What matters is that you don’t stop.

So every time you see someone else’s achievement online, instead of saying, “Must be nice,” try saying:

Then go back to doing the work.

Keep working.
