Recognize and acknowledge your emotions. 🤍
Sabi sa Psalm 62:8:
“Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”
We deny the anger, the pain, the sadness.
True strength is having the courage to recognize what we feel, acknowledge it, and bring it to God in prayer.
We can come to God exactly as we are—hurt, angry, confused, disappointed, or broken.
Because we cannot surrender to God what we refuse to acknowledge.
Acknowledge it. Name it. Bring it to God.
It means you are choosing to face them—with God.
So today, allow yourself to be honest with Him.
“Lord, this is what I’m feeling. This is where I’m hurting. This is what I’m struggling with. I don’t know how to carry this anymore, so I surrender it to You.”
You don’t have to hide your heart from the One who already knows it.
God is not asking you to pretend that you are okay. He is inviting you to pour out your heart to Him.
And sometimes, healing begins the moment we finally have the courage to say:
“Lord, this hurts. I’m angry. I’m sad. I’m struggling. But I choose to bring it all to You.” 🙏🏻🤍
Recognize. Acknowledge. Pray. Surrender. Trust.
Because God is our refuge. 🤍
