Appreciation post:

This is for the father of my children.

Thank you for being such a good provider, partner, and father to our children 🤍

Hindi man perfect ang buhay, hindi man perfect ang marriage, pero araw-araw kitang nakikitang ginagawa ang best mo for us. You work hard, you show up, you stay present. And that means everything.

I truly believe in this: Healthy parents = happy childhood.

Ang bata ay parang sponge — sinasalo at ginagaya niya lahat ng nakikita niya. The way we love, the way we talk, the way we handle stress and misunderstandings… lahat yan naa-absorb niya.

That’s why I’m grateful na kahit may misunderstandings, may miscommunications, at kahit minsan napapainit ko ang ulo mo (hehe 😅), you still choose to respond with patience. I’m grateful na may isang nagpapakumbaba, di man ako.. ikaw talaga yun. Hahaha. And I see that. I appreciate that.

Hindi tayo perfect. Ako hindi. Ikaw hindi.
Pero we are trying. And that effort? That humility? That commitment? That’s love.

Thank you for leading our family with quiet strength.
Thank you for loving me even when I’m not the easiest to love.
Thank you for choosing us every single day.

I’m proud of the father you are.
I’m grateful for the husband you are.
And I will always advocate for strong, healthy marriages — because our children deserves to grow up seeing love done right. 🤍

This is life of being a mother of two under two. Its messy, its chaotic, borderline dangerous. But its beautiful. I can’t always be there for them so its really my prayer that Jesus protects them.

The world tells us to chase love as a feeling—something we fall into.

But the Bible invites us to see love as a calling—something we walk out.

Biblical love is not sustained by constant romance or uninterrupted happiness.

It is sustained by obedience, humility, and grace.

There will be days when love feels effortless—full of laughter, warmth, and closeness.

And there will be days when love feels like work—choosing patience over pride, forgiveness over resentment, faith over feelings.

In those moments, love becomes a verb.

To love the man you marry is to say:
• I will stay when it’s easier to withdraw.
• I will serve when I feel unseen.
• I will commit even when emotions fluctuate.

This kind of love reflects Christ—
who did not love us because it was easy,
but because it was right.

Marriage, then, is not just about finding the right person.

It is about becoming the kind of person who loves faithfully, daily, and intentionally.

Marriage isn’t sustained by grand gestures.
It’s sustained by intentional ones.

Last night wasn’t fancy. Walang five-star resto. Walang aesthetic na setup. Just us — choosing to sit down, talk, and be present with each other. No phones. No business talk. No parenting agenda. Just husband and wife.

Ang dali kasi maging nanay at tatay lang.
Ang dali maging business partners.
Ang dali maging roommates.

But staying lovers? That takes intention.

Intentional dates remind us that before the kids, before the responsibilities, before the pagod — we chose each other. And we keep choosing each other.

Not because it’s always kilig.
But because it’s covenant. Commitment. Work. Grace.

We don’t date because everything is perfect.
We date so we can stay connected even when life isn’t.

If you’re married, this is your sign.
Schedule the date.
Protect the time.
Choose each other again. 🤍
