You know people everywhere, but somehow, you never really belong anywhere.

You can talk to almost anyone, laugh with different groups, and fit into different circles—but when everyone goes home, you realize you were never really part of the group.

You’re the friend people enjoy having around, but rarely think to look for.

You’re invited sometimes. Remembered sometimes. Included sometimes.

And for years, you convince yourself that you’re just independent.

Until one day, you realize you’ve spent your whole life moving from circle to circle, always close enough to belong, but never close enough to feel chosen.

Maybe being a floater friend taught you how to be comfortable alone.

But sometimes, deep down, you still wonder what it feels like to have a place where you don’t have to wonder if you belong.
