Why does it feel like ordinary Filipinos keep working harder while life keeps getting more expensive?

A lot of people are exhausted from trying to keep up working long hours, budgeting carefully, buying what they can afford, and still feeling financially pressured because of rising prices and the constant issues happening in politics. Many Filipinos are simply trying to survive while hoping for a more stable future.

That’s also why more people are learning to be practical, resourceful, and intentional with what they buy and support. Sometimes, even small choices saving money, starting a small business, supporting local sellers, or simply continuing despite difficult circumstances are already forms of resilience.

No matter how heavy things feel right now, keep believing that small progress still matters. Better days don’t happen overnight, but every honest effort you make for yourself and your future is never wasted.

Many people are tired of hearing promises while dealing with the same problems rising prices, low wages, corruption issues, and leaders blaming each other instead of creating real solutions. It’s frustrating to work hard every day and still feel left behind.

But staying informed, speaking up, and refusing to normalize these issues still matter. Real change starts when people stop staying silent about what the country truly needs.
