𝐏𝐑𝐎𝟔 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐬 𝐇𝐕𝐈, 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬; 𝐏𝐡𝐏𝟖𝟕𝟎𝐊 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐮 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲

Iloilo City – Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) arrested five drug personalities, including one High-Value Individual (HVI), and seized approximately 128 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PhP870,400.00 in six anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) on July 8, 2026.

Of the five arrested suspects, one (1) was identified as an HVI, while the remaining four (4) were classified as Street-Level Individuals (SLIs).

The largest drug confiscation was recorded during a buy-bust operation conducted at around 10:10 PM in Zone 1, Brgy. Boulevard, Molo, Iloilo City. The operation was carried out by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Group–Special Operations Unit 6, Iloilo Maritime Police Station, ICPO Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, and the Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Iloilo City Police Station 4.

Arrested during the operation was alias “Randy,” 48 years old, a resident of Molo, Iloilo City, who is listed as a High-Value Individual. Investigation revealed that the suspect had been under police surveillance for nearly three weeks due to his alleged involvement in illegal drug activities in the Molo District.

Recovered during the operation were 20 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing approximately 110 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated SDP of PhP748,000.00, buy-bust money, and other drug and non-drug evidence.

Police Brigadier General Randulf T Tuaño, Acting Regional Director of PRO6, commended the operating units for the successful operations and emphasized the importance of sustained intelligence-driven law enforcement efforts against illegal drugs.

“These accomplishments show what we can achieve through good intelligence, close coordination, and disciplined police operations. We will continue to pursue those involved in illegal drugs with determination while ensuring that every operation is conducted within the bounds of law and due process,” PBGen Tuaño said.

He also called on the public to support the campaign against illegal drugs by reporting suspicious activities in their communities.

“The fight against illegal drugs requires the support of every community. Your information can help us prevent crime, protect our youth, and keep our communities safe,” he added.

The arrested suspects are now under the custody of the respective operating units and will face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

ILOILO CITY – Inaresto ng Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) ang limang personalidad sa ilegal na droga, kabilang ang isang High-Value Individual (HVI), at nasamsam ang humigit-kumulang 128 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng PhP870,400.00 sa anim na anti-illegal drug operations na isinagawa ng Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) noong Hulyo 8, 2026.

Sa limang naaresto, isa ang kinilalang HVI habang ang apat na iba pa ay classified bilang Street-Level Individuals (SLIs).

Ang pinakamalaking nakumpiskang ilegal na droga ay naitala sa buy-bust operation na isinagawa bandang alas-10:10 ng gabi sa Zone 1, Barangay Boulevard, Molo, Iloilo City.

Isinagawa ang operasyon ng City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), katuwang ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Group–Special Operations Unit 6, Iloilo Maritime Police Station, ICPO Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, at Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) ng Iloilo City Police Station 4.

Naaresto sa operasyon si alyas “Randy,” 48 taong gulang, residente ng Molo, Iloilo City, at kinikilalang HVI. Lumabas sa imbestigasyon na halos tatlong linggo nang minamanmanan ng pulisya ang suspek dahil sa umano’y pagkakasangkot nito sa ilegal na aktibidad sa droga sa Molo District.

Nasamsam sa operasyon ang 20 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets na naglalaman ng humigit-kumulang 110 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang Standard Drug Price na PhP748,000.00, buy-bust money, at iba pang drug at non-drug evidence.

Pinuri ni Police Brigadier General Randulf T Tuaño, Acting Regional Director ng PRO6, ang mga operating unit sa matagumpay na operasyon at binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng tuloy-tuloy na intelligence-driven law enforcement efforts laban sa ilegal na droga.

“Ipinapakita ng mga tagumpay na ito ang maaari nating makamit sa pamamagitan ng mahusay na intelligence, mahigpit na koordinasyon, at disiplinadong operasyon ng pulisya. Patuloy nating tutugisin ang mga sangkot sa ilegal na droga nang may determinasyon habang tinitiyak na ang bawat operasyon ay isinasagawa alinsunod sa batas at due process,” pahayag ni PBGen Tuaño.

Nanawagan din siya sa publiko na suportahan ang kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng impormasyon hinggil sa mga kahina-hinalang aktibidad sa kanilang mga komunidad.

“Ang laban kontra ilegal na droga ay nangangailangan ng suporta ng bawat komunidad. Ang inyong impormasyon ay makatutulong upang maiwasan ang krimen, maprotektahan ang ating kabataan, at mapanatiling ligtas ang ating mga komunidad,” dagdag niya.

Ang mga naarestong suspek ay nasa kustodiya na ng kani-kanilang operating units at mahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Nananatiling matatag ang PRO6 sa pinaigting nitong kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga sa pamamagitan ng tuloy-tuloy na operasyon ng pagpapatupad ng batas, mas pinalakas na koordinasyon sa pagitan ng mga ahensya, at aktibong pakikilahok ng komunidad.

Nagsungka sa Police ang Top 7 Regional Most Wanted Person nga may kaso pagpanghimulos.
