Regarding this matter, we are seeking help from those who are able to give some financial assistance to our brothers and sisters to purchase a solar panel to provide lighting in the masjids of Pinadzangca, Calaan, Buldon, Maguindanao, and by that, they will need 6,000 pesos in order to buy this solar panel, which also includes the batteries, insha'allah.

From the last evening of October 27th up to this day (28th of October), Typhoon 𝘗𝘢𝘦𝘯𝘨 has hit the residents of Maguindanao, Cotabato City, and some parts of Southern Mindanao with nonstop heavy rainfall. 𝘗𝘢𝘦𝘯𝘨 has caused them to struggle from the catastrophes of serious flooding and landslide that trapped some of them and killed thirteen (13) of them. Because of it, many houses and some infrastructures in the affected areas were destroyed.

With that, we, the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, are knocking once more on your kind hearts, in the pursuit of unity and compassion during hard times in our communities, for any in-kind monetary amounts for the casualties of the affected areas.

We will ensure that all of your in-kind donations (monetary and supplies) collected from this donation drive will be sent and delivered to the casualties.

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi ta ala wabarakatuhu.

It has been nearly a week since the destructive typhoon Ulysses landed in our country mostly in Luzon. The outburst of flash flood ripped their homes, uprooted trees and brought down power lines in the said places. Many of our fellow citizen suffered crippling losses from the typhoon. Hence, we are requesting for your kind support in making sure that we provide immediate relief to the victims by donating in-kind or financial assistance for their basic necessities.

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said,

“The upper hand is better than the lower one. And begin (charity) with those who are under your care. The best charity is that which given out of surplus. He who asks (Allah) to help him abstain from the unlawful and the forbidden, Allah will fulfill his wish. He who seeks self-sufficiency will be made self-sufficient by Allah” [Saheeh al-Bukhari].
