Title: “Pantalan: Handum sang Kadagatan”

A masterpiece that sails with pride, “Pantalan: Handum sang Kadagatan” embodies the heart and soul of Dumangas and the spirit of the Haw-as Festival. The top, inspired by a sea captain, symbolizes command, authority, and leadership—mirroring the Dumangasanon’s courage to steer toward progress. The torso, adorned with the Dumangas Boardwalk and the proud RORO Port crowned by a ship at the back, honors the town’s gateway of opportunity and its thriving livelihood. Flowing below, the skirt bursts with the rich sea harvests—bangus, shrimp, oyster, and more—while the cascading blue ruffles mirror the waves that cradle the town’s abundance. This costume stands as a powerful tribute to the Haw-as Festival, a celebration of Dumangas’ strength, prosperity, and unbreakable bond with the sea.
