As a newly baptized baptist, we are finally understanding what parenting with Jesus meant. It is by being consciously putting Jesus first in our lives.
Raising our children is not a walk in the park where you just let them run free. It is a walk with Jesus daily. A conscious effort to make sure that they would follow and obey the teachings of Jesus Christ. Teaching truth, teaching consequences.

I am getting a lot of comments about my weight and that I have let go of myself since having children.

I agree I have been eating a lot as I am always hungry after breastfeeding.
I agree I am not doing any miles of walking or jogging for I am trying to be present in every activity, milestone and injuries my kids can have.

I may be making excuses for myself but I know that when my children grow and they won’t be clinging on to momma as much as they do now, I will have all the time to work on this new shape of body I have after birth.

So, momma, if you are breastfeeding like me, has gained so much weight since giving birth, don’t be too hard on yourself. Our kids would never remember how fat we were, they would only remember how present we were.

I love my children! There is nothing more important to me as a mom than making sure that my children get to go home to Jesus in heaven.

Raising them in this time and age is very challenging because most people in your village don’t share the same belief. And some that do share your belief is conforming with the trend of the world.

So, if you are a momma with the same goal and the same belief in Christ, this is for you.
