BORACAY ๐๏ธ
This national costume is an elegant tribute to Boracay, one of the world's most celebrated tropical destinations and a radiant jewel of the Philippine archipelago.
The bodice is crafted from soft, diaphanous pina fabric, showcasing one of the Philippines' most treasured indigenous textiles. Flowing into cascading ivory ruffles, the silhouette captures the beauty of Boracay's fine white sand, while its graceful movement reflects the gentle rhythm of the island's crystal-blue waters. Intricate green embellishments bloom across the bodice and sleeves, inspired by the delicate algae that naturally appear along Boracay's shoreline during summer.
Crowning the ensemble is a sculptural headpiece inspired by the vibrant layag of the traditional paraw, whose colorful sails catch the wind and guide every voyage across the sea. It symbolizes direction, resilience, freedom, and the enduring maritime heritage of Boracay while celebrating the island's vibrant coastal culture.
Worn by Miss Teen Tourism Philippines 2026, this creation embodies the timeless beauty of Boracay, where nature, heritage, and Filipino artistry exist in perfect harmony.
It is a celebration of an island that continues to inspire the world with its breathtaking landscapes, rich traditions, and enduring place among the world's most iconic island destinations.
