Company History & Ownership:

In 2009, husband and wife Mardy and Junior Silawan began making shell leis and supplying them to local exporters in the Philippines. Mardy actively searched online for trustworthy buyers—those who pay fairly and treat their suppliers with respect. By 2010, the couple decided to take a bigger step by becoming licensed exporters, with the dream of sharing their handmade

products with the world. This led to the birth of MFCC, a family-owned business founded and managed by Mardy and Junior Silawan. Location(S) And Facilities:

MFCC’s mission is to be the first choice for fashion accessories by offering high-quality products, great service, and fair prices. We do this by working quickly, simply, and as a team. Keys To Success:
MFCC is a trustworthy, responsible, and dependable trader, supplier, and manufacturer of high-quality Philippine-made products. We are committed to fair trade practices, including ethical sourcing and timely, just compensation. As a home-based business, much of our production is outsourced. In addition to myself and my husband, we have a small in-house team dedicated to packing and quality inspection. Many of our artisans are our neighbors—fellow mothers I personally reached out to door-to-door—who, like me, are eager to contribute to their family’s income. We also work with skilled craftspeople from nearby islands, where making shell and kukui leis is a traditional livelihood.
