𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗚.𝗔.𝗕.𝗔.𝗬. (𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮, 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴)

Project GABAY was a landmark event led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗖. 𝗧𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗹, a candidate for Mister Gay Sugbo, as part of his community immersion initiative on Inclusive Education and HIV Awareness. Held at Babag Gymnasium, Barangay Babag, Lapu-Lapu City, the event garnered support from the Barangay Babag Council, led by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗘𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻, and the SK Federation of Barangay Babag, headed by Chairwoman 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻 .

This impactful program aimed to educate attendees about HIV, dispel surrounding stigmas, and foster a culture of inclusivity and acceptance. By offering HIV testing and open discussions, Project G.A.B.A.Y. empowered community members with vital information, promoting a healthier and more supportive environment.

The event highlighted the importance of community engagement in addressing health issues and advocating for inclusivity, making it a significant step forward in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

November 06, 2025, we gathered to mop away the mess🪣, putting the curtains back up✨️, arranging the design that got scattered all over🍃, and sweeping the floors🧹to get the once beautiful set-up of LIKHA STUDIO ARTS CLUB in order. A big task, but with the coordination and the dedication to put up the set-up that the Bagyong Tino once swept, everything feels right again. Post-bagyo clean-up by LIKHA STUDION ARTS CLUB.

Pagsapit ng alas-otso ng gabi oras ng Pilipinas ngayong Nobyembre 3, 2025, itinaas ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) Blg. 4 sa Lungsod ng Lapu-Lapu. Kasalukuyang naghahanda ang mga residente para sa posibleng epekto ng Severe Tropical Storm Tino, na inaasahang magdadala ng malakas na hangin, matinding pag-ulan, at posibleng pagbaha.

𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘆𝗼

1. Maghanda ng emergency kit na may mga essential supplies tulad ng:
✅️Tubig
✅️Pagkain
✅️Flashlight
✅️First aid kit
✅️Importanteng documento o
mga papeles
✅️Battery-powered radio
2. Siguraduhing fully charged ang mga cellphone at power bank.

3. I-secure ang mga gamit sa labas ng bahay, tulad ng mga halaman, furniture, at iba pa.

4. Mag-antabay sa mga updates at warnings mula sa PAGASA at mga lokal na awtoridad.

5. Putulin ang mga naka harang na sanga ng kahoy malapit sa poste ng kuryente.

1. Manatili sa loob ng bahay at huwag lumabas maliban kung talagang kailangan.

Root of the Past, Seeds of Tomorrow🍃🌄

In the delicate patterns of a leaf🍃, we find the blueprint of life's present persistence✨️. Botanical history is more than just the study of plants through time it is the story of adaptation, resilience, and the intricate dance between nature and humanity. Each discovery illuminates not only where we've been but also the paths we can take toward a sustainanble future🌄. A plant is not just a plant it has life, an origin just like us, a history where it's a mystery to us🍃.

The ignorance of the history will not fruit in the future. As you want to be known, know the unknown. Embrace the past, love the present, and look forward for the future.

LIKHA Arts Club joins the Kartograpiya Lecture Series Part 3 "Plants from Across the Seas: Plants Reported by the Spaniards during the Galleon Trade" with Dr. Jay Picardal, Director of Research Institute for Tropical Biology and Pharmacological Biotrechnology of the Cebu Normal University.

The meeting was led by the head of the CPAR department, Mr. 𝙰𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚎𝚕 𝙲. 𝚃𝚒𝚛𝚘𝚕 and discussed important matters for the upcoming said event.

The major events include;

𝚃𝚊𝚛𝚊 𝚜𝚊 𝚃𝚞𝚗𝚐𝚑𝚊𝚊𝚗 (𝚃𝚂𝚃) 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚖- the
National Museum of the Philippines (NMP-Cebu) team will personally comc to Babag National High School to conduct the Tara Sa Tunghaan (TST) Program.
The TST Program is one of NMP-Cebu's flagship initiatives that brings cultural education directly to schools. By meeting the learners where they arc, the program presents the museum's services and emphasizes its significant role of
safeguarding. Preseving and conserving our nation't heritage.
