Project GABAY was a landmark event led by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฒ๐น ๐. ๐ง๐ถ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น, a candidate for Mister Gay Sugbo, as part of his community immersion initiative on Inclusive Education and HIV Awareness. Held at Babag Gymnasium, Barangay Babag, Lapu-Lapu City, the event garnered support from the Barangay Babag Council, led by ๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐๐๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ป, and the SK Federation of Barangay Babag, headed by Chairwoman ๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ต ๐๐ป๐ป ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ผ๐ป .
This impactful program aimed to educate attendees about HIV, dispel surrounding stigmas, and foster a culture of inclusivity and acceptance. By offering HIV testing and open discussions, Project G.A.B.A.Y. empowered community members with vital information, promoting a healthier and more supportive environment.
The event highlighted the importance of community engagement in addressing health issues and advocating for inclusivity, making it a significant step forward in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
