MOA Signing and Turnover of Donations: Strengthening Partnership and Commitment Through the Koop Kapatid Program
On May 19, 2026, PECCI Multipurpose Cooperative (PECCI MPC), in partnership with theCooperative Development Authority (CDA) – NCR Extension Office, successfully conducted the formal Turnover of Donations to four (4) micro cooperatives and the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) under the Koop Kapatid Program. The initiative underscores PECCI MPC’s unwavering commitment to cooperative development by extending technical, financial, and material assistance aimed at fostering sustainability, resilience, and inclusive growth among emerging cooperatives.
In the opening message of the Social and Community Development Technical Working Group (SCD-TWG) Oversight Director Onesimo C. Martinez inspired the beneficiary cooperatives to remain steadfast in their mission, embrace innovation, and maximize the opportunities provided through the Koop Kapatid Program. He emphasized that the true value of assistance lies in how it is transformed into lasting progress for both the cooperative and its members. Marking the partnership is the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between PECCI MPC and the four (4) beneficiary cooperatives headed by PECCI MPC Chairperson Alvin P. Santos, SCD- TWG Oversight Director Onesimo C. Martinez and the principal representatives of the beneficiary cooperatives, symbolizing a shared commitment to cooperation, empowerment and partnership. Also in attendance are the PECCI MPC Board of Directors, Executive Officers, selected committee officers and SCD-TWG officers.
In its continuing commitment to empower small brother cooperatives to provide assistance and support, the following are the beneficiary cooperatives and PECCI MPCs donations:
• MCU-Divisoria Transport Service Cooperative - Provision of Computer set with supplies, air
compressor (tire inflator) and car wash vendo machine to support operational development and income-generating initiatives.
• Commuters Response Information Desk Express Transport Cooperative - Provision of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,00.00) as financial assistance intended to finance the proposed automotive shop business and enhance livelihood opportunities for its members.
• UP PhilCoa Credit Cooperative - Provision of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00) for additional working capital for credit operations, office renovation and marketing campaign advertisement activities aimed at strengthening organizational operations.
• Crossworld Marine Services Employees Credit Cooperative - Provision of Office equipment
and office supplies such as, laptop, desktop, printer, bond paper and printer ink to improve administrative efficiency and service delivery.
Ms. Anastacia A. Hora, Assistant Regional Director of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), expressed gratitude to PECCI for its ongoing partnership and support of CDA programs. She highlighted CDA’s core advocacy of self-help, responsible stewardship, and prudent resource management. She reminded beneficiary cooperatives to use the assistance provided wisely, ensuring it leads to productivity, organizational growth, and long-term sustainability.
In closing, PECCI MPC Vice-Chairperson Marv Kevin F. Santos encouraged the beneficiary cooperatives to give utmost value to the assistance entrusted to them. He expressed optimism that the donations would serve as catalysts for growth, innovation, and greater opportunities for their members and communities.

partnership, it sets an example of how cooperative success can be shared to create lasting and transformative impact.
