Filip + Inna is inspired by tradition creating distinct clothes which incorporate old custom weaving, embroidery, and beadwork all done by hand by different indigenous groups from all over the Philippines.

In honor of International Women’s Month, we celebrate the amazing and creative artisans we work with from all over the Philippines. Women comprise 95% of the artisans we work with. For the past 18 years, their heart and expertise is evident in each and every piece they make with us. To work with knits has always been on our to do list for the brand. The dream was to have a knit collection made here in the Philippines. This dream became a reality when my good friend Ceeli started , which transforms Philippine tropical fibers into fabric. From the start, we knew we had something special in our hands. These Isla-Tek fabrics are knit by the artisans of Allena, Filipino craftsmen in knitwear with decades of technical expertise.

With their fabrics, we were able to create a collection of knits made from the Filipino tropics for the tropics with our signature embroidery and beadwork details by our artisans in the studio.
