Our local weavers need our support, too.

At the heart of what we do is a simple mission: to give new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste, while creating something meaningful along the way.

We mainly work with used flour sacks and discarded fabrics from Taytay, Rizal. But through our conversation with Ate Natividad, owner of Leila’s Loomweaving in Abra, we were reminded that sustainability is not only about saving materials, it is also about supporting the people and communities behind every piece of craftsmanship.

Ate Natividad shared with us that their local weavers have many beautiful handwoven fabrics ready to be appreciated, yet one of their biggest challenges is finding a market where their work can be seen, valued, and sold fairly.

Their story stayed with us.

So we asked ourselves: if we have the opportunity to help, why not use it?

By purchasing their weaves at a fair price and incorporating them into our products, we hope to help create more opportunities for our local artisans while honoring the skill, time, and tradition behind every woven piece.

Our newest polo design combines repurposed flour sacks with Binakol weave, a piece that represents more than just sustainability. It carries the hands, stories, and livelihood of our local weavers.

Every purchase helps reduce textile waste and, at the same time, supports Filipino craftsmanship and the communities keeping these traditions alive.
