HOTEL RECOMMENDATION!

If may mga morning flight kayo from NAIA or gabi na kayo dumating ng Manila and naghahanap kayo ng mura at decent na accommodation na malapit lang sa airport, swak na swak sa budget tong hotel na to. Around 10 mins away lang siya from NAIA terminal 3 lalo na if via NAIAX. Kaya di mo na lagi kailangan magmadali kasi sobrang accessible niya talaga. You can get it for as low as 2,600 pesos if stay lang talaga need mo at no need ng breakfast. Quality stay talaga kasi malinis at maganda ang mga rooms.

IN OUR CAMPING ERA?

Actually, pang 3rd camp na namin to. We had our first camping last May 2026 with Camping with Kids PH. Nag enjoy kami actually and realize na it is good to do it paminsan minsan. Masarap minsan na humanap ng peace and serenity at mag disconnect sa ingay ng city. Maybe others will say na bakit pa namin papahirapan sarili namin if pwede naman kami mag rent ng room sa resort or hotel. Although yes, minsan less hassle mag stay sa accommodation ng mga resort, pero iba rin yung pakiramdam everytime nakaka pag set ka ng camp. May satisfaction din pala yun na dulot na parang may malaki kang naging achievement.

Pero dito sa 3rd camp namin, aminin namin na medyo naging challenging kasi almost raw yung campsite na napuntahan namin. Walang kuryente, walang wifi, mahina ang data signal, walang common kitchen/sink, although may common CR naman. Akala namin nung una hindi namin maeenjoy. Pero minsan sapat na talaga maexperience mo yung total disconnection sa usual mong buhay para kahit papaano ay magkaroon ka ng oras to reflect sa lahat ng pangyayari sa buhay mo. Habang naliligo sa malamig namin ilog, nakikinig sa mga huni ng ibon, at pinapakinggan ang katahimikan ng kalikasan. Kaya masaya pa rin yung naging camp namin lalo na first time makaligo ng mga anak namin sa running river water.

Kaya dahil dun, eto na naman kami. Nabubudol until unti. Marami ng nakaabang sa cart para icheck out pa ang mga kulang namin na gamit. Hahaha. Magastos din pala talaga ang camping! 😁

Eto nga palang napuntahan namin is sa Ben-Cab Riverview Campsite sa Liliw, Laguna. If ok sa inyo ang raw camping, pwedeng pwede kayo dito. Sa riverside campsite nila, 150 php ang adult and 75 ang kids. No pitching fee na. Pero if gusto niyo mas convenient, pwede kayo mag camp dun sa elevated campsite nila. May wifi, electricity, and common kitchen. And actually they also provide accommodation. May mga fan room kubo sila for rent. Sa elevated campsite, 250 php for adult and 125 php sa kids. Mas mahal siya pero medyo mahirap lang mag transport ng gamit kasi may around 40-50 steps going up pa. Lastly, 50 pesos ang parking fee sa 4 wheels and 30 pesos sa motorcycle.

And just like that, vacation is over!

Buti na lang, we had a great time before bumalik sa school ang mga bata. Iba rin talaga ang experience na dadalhin sayo ng camping. It’s our second time pero parang nahuhumaling din talaga kami. Hehe. Medyo magastos lang talaga sa umpisa kasi nag iinvest pa sa mga gears. Pero promise, super worth it talaga lalo na pag naexperience mo yung peace and serenity ng nature. We will be into air travel pa rin naman. Paka mahal lang talaga lumipad ngayon, kaya dito muna tayo sa mga road trips. 😁 San kaya next? Charet!

Malinis and maganda ang lugar plus the accessibility sa basic needs. Kaya most likely babalikan talaga namin siya. Ang lawak kasi ng beach space and camping grounds nila. ❤️ Sa Lobo, Batangas lang siya guys!

CORE MEMORY!

Minsan, ok lang to break your bank to create core memories. First time mag jet ski ni Hiraya at Hayo and sobrang nakaka happy lang na makita sila na sobrang happy din after their experience. Actually, surpise to and hindi alam ni mommy Joy and Hayo. Si ate Hiraya lang nakaalam at kami lang magkakuntsaba. Buti na lang talaga, parehas sila hindi takot at nasulit namin yung 15 mins rental.

Yes, masakit siya sa bulsa to be honest. More than a thousand para sa saglit na experience. Pero worth it kasi may bago silang experience na maki-keep nila. Kaya even if it will take a little breaking of budget, pero sa pakiramdam niyo is super worth it, go lang para sa kids and family!

Ano nga ba ang usual na hinahanap ng Immigration Officer during the security check kapag aalis ka ng Pinas? For the basic immigration requirement, eto yung mga need mo iprovide:

1. Printed Boarding Pass / Roundtrip Ticket
2. Valid Passport (should be 6 months valid on the time of departure)
3. Valid Visa (if you are visiting a visa country)
4. E-travel (you can accomplish at least 3 days before departure)

Technically, eto lang ang usual hinahanap lalo na kung frequent traveler ka na. Madalas sa immigration pag marami ka ng previous travel abroad, abot ng passport and boarding pass na lang, tapos picture, and then tatak na.

Pero it doesn’t mean na hindi na ko nag pe-prepare ng mga supporting documents. Necessary pa rin to lalo na kung first time mo lalabas ng bansa. In our case, hindi na kami nag piprint ng mga documents na to, instead meron na lang kaming electronic copy sa mobile phone.

Eto yung usual na hinahanda namin na supporting documents:

1. Certificate of Employment (Business permit will do kung business owner ka)
2. Hotel and activity booking confirmation
3. High level travel itinerary
4. Approved leave form

If being asked regarding financial capacity, pinapakita ko na lang mga physical credit and debit cards ko. Pero sobrang bihira nito mangyari lalo na kung employed ang status mo. I don’t request for bank statements and bank certificate na kasi mahal din mag request. Good thing, with my bank, makakagenerate ka naman ng bank statement through app if talaga needed ng copy. That’s all. Ang mahalaga naman is maging honest ka sa intention mo regarding the purpose of your travel para iwas offload.
