LV Vachetta refers to the natural, untreated Vachetta leather used by Louis Vuitton for trims, handles, and straps, which starts as a light beige but develops a unique, rich brown patina with age and exposure to oils, water, and sunlight. This natural aging process, or patina, is a signature characteristic that makes each bag's Vachetta leather unique, though the leather's absorbency also makes it susceptible to stains and water damage if not handled carefully. We don't color LV bags we enhance and naturally clean each part of the bag.
