You don't have to have everything figured out today.

Small steps still count. Rest is not failure. And even if it doesn't feel like it, you're making progress.

Be gentle with yourself. Your journey doesn't have to look like anyone else's. 🤍

Protect your peace. Not everyone needs to know everything about you. 🤍

Schools should be a place of learning, not fear.

May God protect every student, teacher, and family. Let us choose kindness, guidance, and understanding before anger and violence. ❤️🕊️

MANY PARENTS ARE UNKNOWINGLY RAISING CHILDREN THAT WILL DISRESPECT THEM
It doesn’t start big.
It starts with:👇Small rude repliesEye rollingIgnoring instructionsTalking back with attitude Mumbling under their breath when correctedWalking away while you’re still talkingRefusing to greet or respond when calledDeliberately doing the opposite of instructionsUsing silence as a weapon (ignoring you on purpose)
And before you know it… you can’t control your own child anymore.
If your child is already doing any of these, don’t panic, but don’t ignore it either.
Follow these steps to fix it 👇
1. Stay calm first:
If you react with anger, you’ve already lost control of the situation.
2. Don’t argue with a child:
You are the parent, not their age mate. Correct, don’t compete.
3. Set clear consequences:
Let them know: “If you speak like this again, this is what will happen.”
4. Be consistent with your rules:
Today you punish, tomorrow you ignore, that confuses the child.
5. Watch your own tone:
Children learn disrespect from how they are spoken to.
6. Correct immediately, not later:
Don’t wait till night. Address it on the spot.
7. Separate correction from anger:
Discipline should teach, not just express your frustration.
8. Reduce over-familiarity:
Too much “friendship” without boundaries leads to disrespect.
9. Check their environment:
School, friends, social media, all can influence their behavior.
10. Teach respect daily, not only when there’s a problem:
What you don’t teach consistently, you cannot expect automatically.
✍️✍️✍️
A child that talks back today… can become an adult that disrespects you tomorrow.
Train it now. Calmly. Firmly. Consistently.
