DHARMA Look 5: Devoured
The world is cruel and also achingly beautiful. Inspired by the tragic narrative of Aesop's fableย ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ. A crow, in search of food, discovers a snake basking in the sun. However, when the crow attempts to seize the snake, it is fatally stung. The crow thought that it made a lucky find, but it only met its cruel fate that cost its life.ย
The moral of the story is that good fortune may not always be what it appears, reflecting the designer's belief that moments of happiness are often followed by unfortunate events.ย ย ย
DHARMA means "the truth of being human." Following the Four Noble Truths, it unravels the truth of humanityโs struggle with suffering and desire, laying bare the raw, unrelenting inherent pain of existence. DHARMA is a scream to the world that life can be unbearably cruel.
