Yuchengco-led Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) has launched a financial literacy boot camp and business case competition called the RCBC DiskarTechpreneur Program. Its aim is to promote financial literacy among senior high school students and expose them to the challenges of running a business.
Out of 70 entries from different school in NCR and Region IV-A, NU Nazareth School's Team BACKET was named as one of the 20 finalists who will proceed to the bootcamp, where they will be given seed money from DiskarTech to jumpstart their business. The team members are Daniel Maverick See, John Michael Hufanda, Christianne Karol Almazan, Sofia Alexi Navarro, Coreen Ysabel Antonio of ABM Grade 12 and team coach Mr. Eugene Andrue Chan.
NU Nazareth School will also receive guidance and expert advice from their DiskarTechPreneur mentor Ms. Salve Duplito, ANC and DZMM Anchor.
