P1,500... Early 20th Century Japanese Wood Folding Tea Table (24 1/2” L x 19 1/2” W x 9 1/2” H)
~ Probably from the 1920s crafted of solid wood, probably Japanese elm. The table's top comprised a single plank with legs shaped like torii gates. The legs are designed to fold and be tucked under the table for easy transport and storage.
~ It is in overall good condition with wear consistent with age and use. A nice patina on the backside, apron, and legs, but the table's top appears to have been refinished at one point by the previous owner. There are some small dents and dark spots on the tabletop as well. It is a bit wiggly and has some scuffing to the legs and apron. Please zoom in on the photos for a clearer view.
