To God be All the Glory 🙏🙌
I’ve been seeing many business like us for a little over a year. Online business muna. Then eventually, naging boutique. Ngayon, mukhang sarado na. Madami. Due to economic situation ng Pilipinas.
I don’t know what happened. Hopefully they relocated, expanded, or moved on to something better. But seeing it made me think: na isa din kami dun na “Ang dali naming ma-frustrate sa negosyo natin kapag mabagal.“
Siguro considerating all the rent expense, tax, and etc.
“Mahina sales.” “Hindi namin nakuha yung target.” “Parang walang growth.” “Ang bagal ng lahat”
Sometimes, because we’re so focused on where we want to be, nakakalimutan nating tingnan how far we’ve already come.
Yung DG
Dating puwesto ng basura at Nag aalok. After school kuha ng ukay and then lalabhan at ititinda. Super dami ng pinag daanan.
So if your business has been around for years, don’t take that lightly.
May employees kang pinapasweldo every cutoff. May customers kang sineserve. May suppliers at bills kang nababayaran. May pamilya kang napo-provide-an. And somehow, your business still allows you to enjoy a good life.
Maybe you’re not as behind as you think.
Hindi ibig sabihin maging complacent. It means appreciate what you’ve built while remaining hungry for what’s next.
4THINGS BUSINESS HAS TAUGHT ME:
FAITH. Always have faith in God. Nasa ups and down talaga ang business. Si God lang talaga makakapitan natin. Di natin kaya kung wala Siya.
GRIT. May season na sunod-sunod ang wins. May season din na parang lahat ng pinto kailangan mong katukin bago may isang magbukas. You will lose clients, make bad decisions, hire the wrong people, launch things that don’t work, and experience disappointing months.
You don’t need to win every day. You need to stay in the game. Sell again. Adjust again. Learn again. Show up again.
PATIENCE. Social media makes success look instant. We see the branch opening, but not the years before it. We see the ₱10M month, but not the months they struggled to make payroll. We see the successful founder, but not the times they almost gave up.
Don’t abandon something that’s growing slowly just because somebody else’s growth looks faster.
NO CHOICE. 10X. This is something sales taught me repeatedly: Kapag kulang ang results, increase the RIGHT activity.
10 calls aren’t enough? Make 100. One ad didn’t work? Test another. Prospects aren’t replying? Follow up. Conversion is low? Get better at selling. Pipeline is empty? GO CREATE PIPELINE.
There are days when you won’t feel motivated. That’s okay. Wala kang choice. May payroll. May pamilya. May customers. May pangarap. May mga taong naniwala sa’yo.
So you get up and 10X.
Not recklessly. Not until you destroy yourself. But with the understanding that you cannot give ordinary effort to an extraordinary vision.
So business owner, kung mabagal ngayon, don’t immediately call yourself a failure.
Look around.
Bukas ka pa. Your people are still getting paid. Your customers are still being served. You’re still building. You’re still learning. You’re still here.
Be grateful, but don’t get comfortable.
FAITH, God knows everything
GRIT when it’s hard.
PATIENCE when it’s slow.
10X when it’s time to move.
Because sometimes the biggest win in business isn’t how fast you grew.
It’s that after everything you’ve been through… BUKAS KA PA RIN BUKAS.
