When designing their wedding looks, they wanted something breezy, relaxed, and inspired by pre-colonial Philippines, interpreted through a more modern lens. Taking their brief, we explored light silhouettes, complementary proportions, and details that felt both familiar and contemporary.
To make the pieces uniquely theirs, we incorporated our signature yarn doodle details alongside kaori shells and beadwork throughout the garments to add texture, movement, and a little extra shine.
As q***r individuals behind HA.MÜ, creating wedding pieces for fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community will always hold a special place in our hearts. There’s something beautiful about witnessing love take shape and being trusted to create garments that become part of that story.
Especially during Pride Month, moments like these remind us that pride can exist in both grand gestures and quiet ones. In choosing love, building a life together, and celebrating that love openly with the people who matter most.
