Bakit mali mag-expect ng 100% match sa swatch?

1. Iba-iba ang dye batch ng tela
Kahit pareho ang color name (halimbawa: dusty blue, sage, rosewood), kapag ibang supplier o ibang batch ng tela, pwedeng may slight difference sa shade.
Minsan mas darker, minsan mas light.

2. Maliit lang ang swatch
Ang swatch ay maliit na sample lang ng tela.
Kapag ginawa na siyang buong dress, iba na ang itsura ng kulay dahil sa:
• folds ng tela
• lighting
• movement ng fabric

3. Iba-iba ang tela na ginagamit
Halimbawa ang swatch ay chiffon, pero ang nabili ay satin o neoprene.
Kahit parehong color, mag-iiba pa rin ang dating dahil iba ang reflection ng tela.

4. Lighting affects color
Sa fitting, sa studio, at sa wedding venue mag-iiba ang kulay depende sa ilaw.
Kaya kahit mukhang match sa shop, minsan iba ang itsura sa photos.

Instead of exact match, mas safe ang:
• same color family (dusty blue tones)
• same fabric types
• or same supplier dapat ang kukuhaan ng tela

Para cohesive pa rin tignan kahit may slight shade difference.
