Ito po magandang example.
Bata siya ano inborn glaucoma, nabarahan yung drainage system o yung daluyan ng fluid na dapat 24/7 nagci-circulate sa mata ng tao kaya nabu-build up nai-istock ano po kaya ang result nagkaka pressure at naiipon (sa part ng aqueous humor ng mata) lumolobo yung mata.

Ang tawag sa ganung glaucoma ay closed angle glaucoma, lumuluwa.

Ang normal sa mga ganitong situation ay inooperahan, pero sa tulong ng ionspec medical device eyewear - yung frame and temple nandito yung health benefits and minerals (wala sa lens)

Let’s go a bit deeper into the biology of how too much negative ion or FIR from tourmaline could affect the eyes.

🔹 Negative Ions (Anions) – High/Excessive Levels

*Oxidative stress
Very high ion concentration may produce ozone or reactive oxygen species (ROS) → these can damage corneal epithelium (outer eye layer).

*Eye surface irritation
Causes redness, stinging, or dry eye, because ROS destabilize the tear film.

Chronic oxidative exposure
Can>> in theory, accelerate lens protein damage → early cataract.

*Retinal concern
If ROS pe*****te deeper, they may contribute to oxidative stress on retinal cells, linked with macular degeneration in sensitive individuals.

🔹 Far Infrared Rays (FIR) – High/Excessive Levels

*Thermal buildup
FIR is heat radiation.
Excess heat near the eye increases tear evaporation → dry eye syndrome.

*Corneal tissue stress
Long exposure to FIR > 40–45 °C can denature corneal proteins, leading to swelling, haze, or keratitis.

*Lens damage
Heat stress on the lens fibers may accelerate cataract formation.

*Retina risk
Although FIR pe*****tes less than visible/UV light, strong or prolonged FIR can still increase metabolic stress in retinal tissue, possibly leading to retinal thermal injury (rare, but reported in high-intensity industrial FIR exposure).
