Welcome home, UP Dragonboat Team.

The 36th member club of the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation, we warmly welcome back one of the most consistent, competitive and enduring university-based dragon boat teams in the country - the University of the Philippines Dragonboat Team.

UPDT is no stranger to PDBF. Before 2011, UPDT was part of the PDBF along with other university teams that sadly have already gone inactive today. Amid challenges, UPDT persevered and continued to thrive as a dragon boat team. And now that they are back to the federation where dragon boat racing truly belongs, we are excited to share this journey with our Iskolar ng Bayan paddlers as they try to reach greater heights in dragon boat competitions locally and abroad. We aspire to open up more opportunities for the younger generation of paddlers and hopefully, re-establish the inter-university category of the PDBF races. To date, UPDT is the third active university-based dragon boat team under the federation, in addition to more than a dozen 24&Under crews of the other clubs of the PDBF.

This exclusive ROZA Project shirt is created specially for the upcoming 2026 races the 15th IDBF Club Crew World Championship and the 18th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships.
