The wave of Air Jordan 1 Lows continues on in 2020, but while most of the pairs released have seen traditional Chicago or Black Toe blocking, there have been a handful of more modern makes — and even some familiar layouts like this “Yin” Air Jordan 1 Low which takes a direct cue from 2016’s Air Jordan 1 High Yin and Yang “Premium Essentials Pack”

Aside from the High’s red tongue branding, this Low-cut pair arrives in an eerily similar structure. All-black leather uppers, black nylon tongues, and matching textile liners are popped with striking white Swooshes and branding detail. Underfoot is a 1-for-1 copy, too, with crisp white midsoles sitting atop black rubber outsoles. The leathers do differ slightly from the previously-mentioned releases, with softly tumbled uppers and reptilian-textured Swooshes a subtle change from the all-out smooth finish to 2016’s High. - Pete Michael
