Arellano University secured a decisive 73-60 victory over UPHSD Junior Altas in the semifinals of the Hotshots Basketball League School Based Tournament (18Under Division).

While the game remained highly competitive through the first three quarters, Arellano University pulled away in the final frame, outscoring UPHSD 21-9 to seal the win and punch their ticket to the championship round. Their defensive pressure was a major factor, converting opponent errors into 19 points off turnovers.

UPHSD Junior Altas put up a solid fight, particularly dominating the paint (34-26), but Arellano's late-game ex*****on proved to be the difference-maker.
