Makati Medical Center kicks off Heart Week 2025 with the 26th Dr. Mariano M. Alimurung Memorial Lecture

One of the highlights of the week was the 26th Dr. Mariano M. Alimurung Memorial Lecture, held on March 3, 2025. This year’s lecture focused on Renal Denervation, a minimally invasive procedure designed to manage resistant hypertension. The session featured Dr. Gan Chye Chung, an Interventional Nephrology Consultant at the University Malaya Medical Center, who shared his expertise on the latest advancements in the procedure.

Heart Week 2025 continues with more discussions and activities aimed at promoting cardiovascular health and innovations in treatment.
