FACE THE REALITY

1. Wealth is quiet → Proverbs 13:7 (NIV)
"One person pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth."

Tunay na kayamanan ay hindi palaging ipinapakita. Ang tunay na mayaman ay hindi kailangang magyabang.

2. Rich is loud → Proverbs 27:2 (NIV)
"Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips."

Ang mayayamang nagyayabang ay nagpapakita ng kayabangan kaysa tunay na pagpapala mula sa Diyos.

3. Broke is flashy → Proverbs 21:17 (NIV)
"Whoever loves pleasure will become poor; whoever loves wine and olive oil will never be rich."

Ang taong nagiging maluho at mahilig magpakitang-gilas ay madalas nauuwi sa kahirapan.

Metro Manila could soon store floodwater underground instead of simply pushing it out to sea.

Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said the government has identified 30 locations across the country’s capital region where large underground cisterns could be constructed as part of a broader effort to address recurring floods.

Among the proposed locations are Rajah Sulayman, Rizal Memorial, Camp Aguinaldo and the University of Santo Tomas. The facilities would be constructed beneath the sites, with the surface areas restored afterward. Detailed engineering work is expected to be completed within August before the government decides which projects to prioritize.

The idea is not only to temporarily hold excess rainwater.

Marcos has instructed officials to explore ways of reusing the collected water rather than simply releasing it into the sea. He said it could potentially be used for households, industry or irrigation, depending on how the system is developed.

The underground reservoirs would complement existing flood-control measures such as dredging, improved drainage systems, seawall upgrades and pumping stations. All 73 pumping stations were operating during the latest monsoon flooding, along with 11 mobile pumping units.

The proposal comes as increasingly intense rainfall puts greater pressure on Metro Manila’s infrastructure. Marcos said 201.7 millimeters of rain recently fell in just five hours—equivalent to about 44 percent of the rainfall recorded during Typhoon Ondoy over an entire 24-hour period.

Marcos said some areas that previously experienced much deeper flooding recently saw only knee-high water, while floodwaters were also receding faster in certain places. He attributed the improvement partly to dredging, drainage work and pumping operations carried out in recent months.

If the underground storage plan moves forward, Metro Manila’s approach could gradually shift from simply getting rid of floodwater as quickly as possible to temporarily storing—and potentially finding another use for—a resource that arrives in overwhelming amounts during the rainy season.

Na Ma embistigahan ang mga nakaupong official dito sa Montalban Rodriguez Rizal.. sa dami pong residenteng nakatira dito sa Montalban... wala pong kapangyarihan na banggain ng mga simpleng mamayan dito ang mga officials dito na nagkakampihan para sa pansarili nilang interes at matagal na silang walang pakialam sa mga mamayan dito... Dekada na ang pag quarrying dito sa Montalban at pag sira sa mga bundok at mga puno.🥹

Naniniwala po ako na naririnig ng Diyos ang matagal na daing ng mga tao dito sa Montalban nakikita mismo ang resulta ng subrang pang aabuso sa lugar na to .. At naniniwala akong ang Diyos ang bahalang gumanti sa mga taong inaabuso at inaapi...

At sa mga taong may kapangyarihan, hipuin Mo ang kanilang mga puso. Paalalahanan Mo sila na ang posisyon ay hindi habang-buhay at ang tunay na sukatan ng pamumuno ay kung paano nila pinoprotektahan at pinaglilingkuran ang mga taong ipinagkatiwala sa kanila.

Diyos ang aming hukom. Diyos ang aming tagapagtanggol. At Diyos ang aming pag-asa.

Tama talaga si Atty. Claire Castro... May mga teacher talagang mga irresponsible sa pag tuturo sa mga bata...Mahirap na tlaga ipagkatiwala ang mga anak sa kong sino sino lang na teacher.... Sa ngayon ang daming imput at tinuturo sila gaya nito na lihis sa moral values... ..ang ginagawa nila ay mind setting at brainwash ang isip ng mga bata sa ideology na hindi nakakatulong sa growth at pagiisip nila. ( Madalas nag sasanhi ng pagkalito at pagiging bayulente nila parehas sa mga gaming groups na nag tuturo ng ideology nila sa mga bata)
Bilang magulang maging matalino sa pag pili kong sinong mga teacher or groups .... ang mag tururo sa mahal mong anak...

When the Battle Is Spiritual

For me, the issue of transgender identity is not only a matter of society or personal choice....it can also be understood through the lens of spiritual warfare and deception.

The Bible warns us that Satan seeks to deceive and draw people away from God. Sometimes people may gain temporary comfort, acceptance, material things, fame, money, or the desires of the flesh while following a path that is contrary to God’s will. Yet earthly success does not necessarily mean that a person is walking in God’s truth.

The real battle is not against people. It is against deception, temptation, pride, and anything that separates humanity from God.

As Christians, we are called to speak the truth with love, pray for others, and remember that every person is created by God and deserves dignity and compassion. Our ultimate goal should not be to condemn people, but to point them toward Christ, truth, repentance, and eternal life.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.” — Ephesians 6:12
