In 1985, Heuer was acquired by TAG Group (Holdings) S.A. TAG is an abbreviation for Techniques d’Avant Garde. TAG Group combined the TAG and Heuer brands to create the TAG Heuer company we know today.

Wenger widened its product range, which is popular across the world, to include watches from 1997 and later luggage.

The design of the Red Cross originate from the First Geneva Convention in 1864.
