This is not a cryptic post or to shame any online seller but more like an awareness to all who would buy ukay ukay or thrift clothes;
I bought this in one of my fave online shop also of ukay ukay, this item costs 2xx and soon as the item arrived I noticed that there’s a stain on the sleeves area. It eventually sunk into my mind that maybe the seller was too busy to notice the stain and wasn’t able to give me some heads up about it. It didn’t bother me knowing that I myself is an online seller too of ukay ukay and I know that there are some instances that we tend to forget to double check some items. I said, I could just wash this item and put some stain remover and it will be good as new. I didn’t bother messaging the seller or even asked for a refund because I know I could just wash that stain away.
There’s always a saying whenever you buy thrift clothes: ALWAYS MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS. If ever you experience the same thing always take time to consider the situation, the item and mostly the seller who was selling the item. The seller can’t have all the time in the world to check detail by detail, most especially if the seller is the only one doing everything; from sorting the items, getting the items laundered, live selling, sorting and packing of sold items, doing the invoice, managing the deliveries and shipments.
Tips on clothes with stains: you can use hydrogen peroxide (agua oxigenada), zonrox for white clothes and color safe for colored clothes. Youtube and google could be your bestfriend at any instances.
