Not everyone separates their whites from their colors. And that is okay.

Half of the baskets that come through here go in as one load — colors and whites together, straight through.

The other half get split before anything touches water. Whites in one basket, colors in another. Different treatment, different result.

Neither way is wrong. But if you have ever wondered why some loads come back a little brighter, a little more like new — that is usually why.

This one needed a closer look. Spot treatment first, worked in by hand, before it goes anywhere near a machine.

This is the part that does not show up in a before-and-after photo, but it is the reason the after photo works at all.

We do not skip this step. Not for towels, not for linens, not for anything that comes through the door.
