Tribu Mag-Uruma of Alangalang Emerges as Champion of Pintados Festival 2023

Today, June 24, Tribu Mag-uruma of the Lingganay Festival in Alangalang, Leyte, under the leadership of Mayor Lovell Ann Yu-Castro, emerged victorious at the Pintados Festival 2023. This remarkable achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Sangguniang Kabataan, Alangalang's tourism office led by Kent Cabalona Guillermo, and the dedicated members of Tribu Mag-uruma, who showcased their talents in Tacloban City.

After years of halted moves and grooves, the Lingganay Festival has triumphantly resumed, and today it proudly claims the championship title at the Pintados Festival 2023. The dedication and perseverance of its members have paid off, as they showcased their outstanding talents and emerged victorious in this prestigious event.

The event was graced by numerous Alangalangons, including educators and municipal councilors, and more personalities who passionately demonstrated their unwavering support for the team. Their presence showcased the immense solidarity and wholehearted encouragement of the participants.
