COLD BLOODED ASSASSIN 🥷🏻🎯

It was way back 2024 nang una ko pahangain ng batang to. Caballero 3x3 Semi-Finals. His team, MSB vs our very own Killas. He gave it his all, pure talent, focus lang sa goal despite the heat of the game's moment. He took over at tuluyan akong humanga hindi lang sa laro at talent pati na rin sa attitude nya inside the court.

Fast forward yesterday... AYOS NA BASKETBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Against the PALARONG PAMBANSA NCR DIVISION-1st runner up, HSL-Braille Varsity Team. This kid came up CLUTCH! Our last time out. 13 secs remaining, we're down by 2pts. Sinabi ko sa kanila na "hindi na rin naman pumapabor satin yung mga hatol ng official, let's go for it. Do or die na. We'll go for the three to win, we'll not settle for a tie. I subbed out our big man to make way for 5 of our best shooters. I instructed them na dapat tqyo makapag attempt ng 3pt bago umabot ng 7-8 secs na lang ang oras. Pag sumablay, let's try to force the offensive glass, if hindi talaga makuha ang rebound, immediate foul. And then JONAS MASBATE happened. With the help of 4 of his teammates inside, James Pambid, Mark Jomari Daguio, Raven Ambion, and JM Sorio. Walang nagbida, walang nag-sarili. Walang "AKO NA TO" moment. They showed rhythm, chemistry and composure despite the pressure on their shoulders. And the COLD BLOODED ASSASSIN cashes it in. 👌🏻 The rest is history.

And we're back on top!!! KILLASTREET BOYS (18u) are CHAMPS once again in AYOS NA BASKETBALL LEAGUE (commissioned and headed by Coach James Patrick Caduada) after defeating the PALARONG PAMBANSA NCR-Division 1st runner up-HSL Braille Varsity Team. Killas showed resilience and all heart. After being down for 4 quarters with the largest lead in the 3rd quarter (20+ points), the boys did not back down and fought their way to victory. Courtesy of the game winning go ahead 3 point basket of Jonas Masbate after the last team timeout. THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WIN IN KILLASTREET HISTORY. Kudos to all the players who played all through out the season. A big round of applause to all of you. 🏆
