Dear Me,
I know you carry more than you let people see. You smile through exhaustion, stay strong through uncertainty, and keep moving even when your heart feels heavy. I want you to know that your effort matters — even the quiet battles no one notices.
You have survived days you thought would break you. You have rebuilt yourself again and again, even when you were tired of starting over. That strength inside you is real. It may not always feel loud or powerful, but it is there every single time you choose to continue.
Please stop being so cruel to yourself for not having everything figured out yet. Life is not a race, and healing is not linear. Some days will feel messy. Some nights will feel lonely. But none of those moments define your worth.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to grow slowly.
You are allowed to outgrow people, places, and old versions of yourself.
One day, you will look back at this version of you with softness instead of criticism. You will realize that you were doing your best with the heart, mind, and strength you had at the time.
Keep believing in the life you are trying to build.
Keep protecting your peace.
Keep choosing yourself, even when it feels unfamiliar.
And please remember:
You do not need to become someone else to deserve love, happiness, or beautiful things.
You already deserve them.
Love,
Me
