Over the years, we have been perfecting the process of steam pleating skirts. It was started by our family in 1975, our humble beginnings were spear-headed by our grandmother, Maria Felizardo Villaruel. "Kang Mary's Pleateran", as it was colloquially called, was just a small shop with a small community following. Through the years, the "pleatearan" was becoming well-known throughout Taytay, Rizal
because of the quality of pleats we produced that lasted for a long time. Until now, we honor and imbibe our grandmother's dedication to her service as we continue making quality pleats on skirts, mostly with school uniform skirts. Danny's Pleated, as it is now known, grew from a 2 person operation now with 10-15 persons. January to June is our peak season since it is the period where students and parents prepare for the next school year. We stay true and committed with the traditional steam pleats technology as it is the best method to produce quality pleated skirts. As we are in difficult times, we pray that all of us are always safe and may God always guide us in whatever we do, and wherever we go.
