Matagal-tagal din akong hindi nakapag-bake nang tuloy-tuloy.

Sa totoo lang, nawawalan na ako ng drive these past few months. Hindi pala talaga madali ang baking. Ilang pans na rin ang nag-fail, ilang beses na ring nasayang ang oras, effort, at gastos. May mga pagkakataon na kapag nakikita ko yung brownies na hindi naging maayos ang resulta, parang nanlalambot na lang ako sa panghihinayang.

Minsan naiisip ko, “Sulit pa ba?”

Pero sa bawat failed pan, may natututunan akong bago. Kahit hindi man earnings ang nakukuha ko sa ngayon, napakarami kong natututunan tungkol sa baking, sa proseso, at higit sa lahat, sa sarili ko.

Ito yung latest bake ko. Malayo pa rin sa brownies na proud akong i-share dati. Pero bawat pagkakamali, mas lumilinaw kung ano ang dapat gawin at ano ang dapat iwasan. At alam kong darating yung panahon na maibabahagi ko rin lahat ng natutunan ko mula sa mga pagkakamaling ito.

Siguro hindi brownies ang maibabahagi ko ngayon, kundi isang simpleng paalala:

Hindi lahat ng progress maganda tingnan. Minsan mukhang tunaw, sablay, o palpak. Pero progress pa rin siya.

Tuluy-tuloy lang.
