Many times I've heard from others that is overcharging under the guise of taxes, which normal people find hard to decipher.
Today, I visited the store and bought snacks (Lays, Salanties). I paid the tagged price, but in addition, they charged GST.
Despite its Islamic name, Madina Cash and Carry doesn't act ethically. I paid the Maximum Retail Price (MRP), which is supposed to include all costs and taxes.
Other local stores don't charge extra taxes on the same items. This store is deceiving the general public and taking extra money from them.
No one seems to care, and there's no one to address these concerns. This is just a silent message, and I don't expect any response from higher-ups.
It's best for the general public to avoid shopping at this store.
