Highlights of the Hult Prize On Campus University of Karachii, Ma’am Maheen Amjad Chairperson Trade Turner Pvt Ltd | CEO EE - Entrepreneurs' Ecole | CEO SHEWURT | Founder and President Women Ascension| was invited as a Judge.

The Hult Prize challenges young people around the world to solve the planet's most pressing issues through social entrepreneurship. The challenge was to create a for-profit social venture, in the fashion/clothing industry. The idea must create a measurable positive impact on people and the planet and support the United Nations in meeting its SDGs by the 2030 deadline.

Maheen Amjad is seasoned Serial Entrepreneur, Mentor, Philanthropist and Public Figure. A woman of many firsts, Maheen is considered to be the first women to earn PhD from her region. She is known for her contribution and dedication in academia especially in the field of Entrepreneurship.

Her continuous engagements with national and international universities, besides other global platforms have encouraged her to work towards reformation of policies especially in the field of education.

She considers herself privileged to involve her skills worldwide while engaging different communities towards sustainability. She is widely known for her philanthropic activities, encompassing the Social Developmental Goals of the United Nations.

Maheen aims to spread education and incubate business to support the household industry model. She is successfully practiced this through affiliation of NGOs while establishing home base business models for the female. She is a Founder and President of global NGO known as Women Ascension.

Under Women Ascension, besides tapping 15 SDGs out of 17, and bridging females with the motto 'Empowered By In Power'; she is keenly working to promote pluralism under fellowship programme 'Women Ascension Peace and Justice - WAPJ.' and towards Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability.

She is philanthropically working at Feed the Poors (Regd) as Head of Education and Women Department, she is heading Vocational Trainings, Education and Business Development Skills for the under privileged females.

Besides this, she is CEO of Entrepreneurs’ Ecole and Shewurt. She is a Chairperson at Trade Turner as well. Maheen’s business network supports charities and provides jobs through the region. This aims to inspire the lives of underserved women and children to work hard and be self-sufficient.

Ma’am Maheen Amjad attended the Mega Project Presentation to evaluate located at Karachi University on 8th October 2022. Ms. Tooba Tahir (Program Manager) is leading the Chapter Karachi at Amal Academy.

Amal Academy is a Stanford University and PepsiCo supported 3-month Fellowship program for in-reduced circumstances 3rd/final year university students. Purpose of the program is to help the students in their career through developing their professional skills

Fellows had to identify one problem that they can work on a social or entrepreneurial problem area of their choice as a group. Project which was presented were:

· Dimagh Ki Batti (Career Counselling for secondary school students)

· Save The Future (Teaching composting)
· Financial Literacy In Transgenders.
