For our hand embroidered t shirts we approached the local artisans based in Hyderabad. Women like Sakina have been in this business for a few years now, working hard to support their families financially.
The main aim of Sulit has always been to sustainably produce handmade pieces whilst working closely with local rural talent. We wanted to support a cause. We wanted to make decisions that we can stand behind.
At Sulit we honour the creativity, the passion, and the commitment of our artisans. For small businesses, itâs not always easy to employ this supply chain but itâs all worth it when you see the smile on their face, the pure joy on their kids face when they get to know that they donât have to quit school. Sulit is more than just a money earning venture, itâs a social cause as well. We support dreams.
