Friendly reminder that criticizing a mom's wrap job can harm rather than help her carrying skills if it discourages her from using a baby carrier in public or sharing photos because of the fear that she's not doing it right. There is a difference between a sloppy wrap job or awkward moment and a *dangerous* position. Dangling legs is not dangerous.

Also consider that there may be information you don't have: the baby in the pink wrap is wearing a brace (Ponsetti boots) that prevents his knees from bending to make a deeper seat and this wrap is holding him in a medically prescribed position. So keep in mind that you're not there; you're just looking at a snapshot.

On World Prematurity Day, an example of the lifesaving power of skin-to-skin contact. Phillip holds his newborn son at a hospital in Ghana. He and his wife Gloria are using ‘kangaroo care’, where parents without access to incubators hold newborns constantly against their skin to keep them warm. Close body contact helps stabilize babies’ body temperatures, steady their heart rates and help their breathing.

Bottomline: You have zero right to comment on or dictate women's reproductive choices, regardless of their age, caste, creed, colour, or class. A poor person has as much right to multiple kids as anyone else; it is the State's responsibility to provide for them. End of story.
