We designed these three in white and silver because some things belong in every season, every temperature, every time zone. Mukesh wire, pearl work and mirror work — three techniques we are endlessly devoted to, all handcrafted over 200+ hours by artisans who put everything into every single pair. We have watched our Khussas travel from Karachi summers to London winters to Mediterranean evenings and they have never once felt out of place.

Mukesh wire, Kundan, Gota work, pearls, mirrors, sequins, pure leather, silk— every material a different language, every technique a different story, all told by the same devoted artisan hands. Hundreds of hours in every single pair regardless of how it is made or what it is made from.

SOMA’s are built the way jewelry is built — with absolute precision and zero tolerance for anything less than perfect. Every stone and mukesh wire is hand-secured with string thread, stitched over and over until it is as immovable as it is breathtaking. 250+ hours of work so that when you walk into a room, your feet own every light in it.

Our artisan women sit with these pieces for weeks — threading beads, placing sequins, sewing pearls — using techniques that have been around for centuries. Every clutch that leaves our studio has had dozens of hands pour love into it.

That’s just how we do things at Soma. We don’t do shortcuts. Never have, never will.
